unfortunately it is not a simple answer, as it depends on whether you are VAT registered as a company or not and also on how you do your accounting.

If you are VAT registered, you can ignore the VAT amounts and work on the net amounts only.
The Cost Price, or Cost of goods sold (COGS) in our plugin represents all the expenses your company pays to manufacture, source, and ship a product or service to the end customer and typically does not include tax.

If your company is registered, VAT is merely a business expense.

just a short follow up on this issue. We have not been able to replicate this issue.
At the moment, we are adding a number of new features and requests, which is taking most of our time. We plan to be ready with these by the end of this week and will then reach out to you once more to see if we can understand what is happening and whether this is related to the amount of variations, or related to our plugin.

Hi,

First of all, thanks for using our plugin and for your feedback.

The settings are basically flags that allow you to hide or show the different values on the main product page (‘products/all products’).
Cost price is always present, but Stock Value, Markup and Margin (incl/excl. VAT) can be hidden/shown using the settings.
You can also hide/show these using the ‘fields settings’ on top of the product pages.

On the individual product pages, they are however always present, by product or by variation.

We can add a feature that allows you to hide these fields also on the individual product pages.

Let us know if that is what you need, then we can see when we can get that implemented.

we’ll release our reports for WooCommerce in a couple of weeks and initially planend to include your request then, but figured why wait –

The latest update (v1.1.0) now includes margin excl. VAT.

In the version we plan to release in the next 2-3 weeks, you also be able to see released margin excl. VAT for your entire store.

We have received similar requests and it definitely makes sense to add this calculation.
We’re launching an updated version of this plugin within the next 3 weeks, so let me check with Khan if we can get this feature in there at the same time.

First of all, thanks for showing interest in downloading our plugin.

A few months ago, WooCommerce launched their new JS based reports (WooCommerce Admin, perhaps you are familiar with them already?).
Eventually, these reports are replacing the standard WooCommerce reports we initially built our plugin for.
We are now reworking the dashboards to show margins and profitability based on these new reports.

We’re laying the last hands on it and plan to have them ready by the end of this month.
It will be a completely new version of the same plugin and I don’t think it will disappoint you.
