In reply to: [Modal Window - create popup modal window] HTML strippedOh my goodness! Thank you for the reply given your circumstances. Please don’t prioritize this if it impacts your safety! I have a workaround in place for now (a Gravity Forms shortcode).
Thank you for the reply and I wish you well!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Linked texts disappearedHi @matumu,
Also, if it helps, I haven’t implemented button colors through JSON for the theme, only because I don’t think it’s supported yet, but that would be the end goal. Ultimately the “hierarchy” of colors for button blocks would be something like:
- editor (user chooses through the block UI settings)
- theme css or json for WP button block
- TEC plugin (fallback to the accent color set in TEC customizer settings)
- default WP Gutenberg block colors/settings
In my mind, that would be ideal, but I’ll defer to the dev team who I’m sure is smarter than I am!
Thanks again,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Linked texts disappearedHi there @tdorn,
This is indeed a conflict with my theme, but it’s because we have Gutenberg button block colors set through the theme. The accent color for TEC set in the customizer overrides this button text color for an Events Calendar button block (however, regular posts’ buttons work as expected, with the theme’s colors as a default if nothing is set via the button block within the editor). It would be super helpful if, in the next iteration of TEC, that the accent color (used for links and whatnot) does not also affect the wp-button block out of the box, especially since Gutenberg allows for customization of colors on blocks. Let me know if that makes sense or if you need me to clarify.
Thanks so much!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Linked texts disappearedHi all,
The same issue is popping up for us, too. We tried using button blocks and depending on whether the button is fill or outline, it happens. If outline, it works as expected, but a fill button doesn’t reverse out the text color, thus making it the same as the filled background color. For what it’s worth, the text IS there, but can’t be seen until highlighted. In looking at the code, it says the color style isn’t defined (color:var(–tec-color-link-accent);)
Hope that makes sense.
Thanks for looking into this, as we are rolling back to 5.8.2 until we can figure out a way to solve it.
Same here. Hoping it gets resolved soon.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] V5 conflict with Ultimate Member content restrictionHi Jaime,
I’m going to jump in here, as I previously had this issue as well. It came up again with another client of mine when I was using the plugin with TEC Pro, so I reached out to your team via Pro support. A default theme on a fresh WP install didn’t help, so Support informed me that they would create a bug report and send it to the TEC dev team for further investigation. That was on Feb. 10, 2021.
Hoping the dev team will have a solution to push out in the next round of updates.
Thanks!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] V5 conflict with Ultimate Member content restrictionI’m having a similar issue with the new design views but our whole calendar should be restricted. When someone who is logged out tries to access the main calendar page, the whole page goes white and doesn’t output any code!
Hoping this is fixed soon!

In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Duplicate Root URLThanks Sybre,
Upon further inspection of our plugins, it would appear that the developer who created the site added some specialty plugins that are required by the site. They must be the culprit, as the only “mainstream” plugins we have are WPForms, WordFence and Classic Editor. I doubt those are responsible for the absolute URLs. Unfortunately, we are unable to go without the proprietary plugins, so we are going to have to find an alternate option for SEO until I can get in touch with the original developer of the site.
Thank you very much for the assistance.

In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Duplicate Root URLHi Sybre,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I tried to manually enter the fully-qualified image URL as you suggested, but the output is still the same, with the duplicate domain. I also tried inputting the relative path to the image, but that did not work either, as the field required a URL format.
I also double-checked any other plugins in use and cannot see any image-processing or URL-processing plugins in use.
Do you know when the next update will be rolled out with a fix? I’m afraid we may have to look elsewhere for an SEO plugin, but I really like the user interface on yours and would like to keep it.
Thank you very much!
Awesome, thanks Justin!
