In reply to: [Termly - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent Banner] GeoIP Detection Not WorkingI have tried the code in the header and then in the footer. 2 of my sites still give me the error: “Your PHP code changes were rolled back due to an error on line 43 of file wp-content/themes/getalong/footer.php. Please fix and try saving again.” The other 2 sites let it update with the code. On the sites that allowed the update to the code, it is still showing the cookie consent popup in countries excluded. So the code isn’t working.

In reply to: [Termly - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent Banner] GeoIP Detection Not WorkingThe popup showed up again today again. I put the code in the header.php and then in the footer.php and got this error message in both locations.

In reply to: [Termly - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent Banner] GeoIP Detection Not WorkingI have tested all the sites and it seems to have worked. I put the <body <?php body_class(); ?> > class tag in the WP Admin under Settings> Cookie Consent> Styles> in the Container Class text box. It seems this did the trick coupled with the steps I listed above. Thank you very much Mafia99!

In reply to: [Termly - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent Banner] GeoIP Detection Not WorkingI actually have done this on 4 sites but let’s try https://GetAlongWithGod.com. If you can see how to adjust the css to fix this one I will go through the rest with the solution. Thank you!

In reply to: [Termly - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent Banner] GeoIP Detection Not WorkingI have done the steps recommended including downloading, activating both plugins, updating to Maxmind GeoIP Lite City, General Option > Add a country-specific CSS class to the <body>-Tag, and selecting the excluded zones, but people in the US are still getting the popups. Any suggestions? When I have tested things, it is locating me fine, I am wondering if Cookie Consent is not firing on all cylinders to block the popup?!
Thank you!Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Youtube Channel Gallery] Youtube Error: Youtube QuotaThe error is assuming that you’re exceeding your quota for requests from YouTube, but really it appears isn’t allowing access to the Google API for YouTube. I enabled the cache so that I wouldn’t exceed that quota in the future. When Google updated their API’s, I guess that meant we needed to regenerate an API key. I use the api from the same account associated with the YouTube Channel. I don’t know if you can use yours and assign it to them.

In reply to: [Youtube Channel Gallery] Youtube Error: Youtube QuotaCreated a new Google API browser key, and it worked. I also enabled a 24 hour cache of for the plugin so you don’t exceed your youtube request quota. If you don’t add a new podcast daily, we should extend the cache.
