Same problem here with Nextgen Widget, it has stopped working some time ago (probably after last update?).

    I have settings:
    – Show: random
    – Select: Only which are listed

The widget then only shows message “no images were found”.

When changing settings to for instance:
    – Show: recently added
    – Select: Only which are listed
    then everything works.

So random is not working for a specific gallery ID. Hopefully this will be fixed in next version.

Adding the CSS helped and took away both the fb name and the old description, but that is much better than how it was. Thanks for the help.

In order to avoid adding CSS code, may I suggest that in a future update of this plugin hiding of the fb name and the description could rather be implemented as an setting option under Global Facebook Style Options?

    Hello

Exactly same thing happened with this page some days ago:
    https://vindoldalen.no/facebook/
This Facebook feed has worked for ages and the group is still a public group that can be seen by everybody.

This looks like it is an Facebook issue since also another Facebook widget plugin used on the same page is only showing an empty feed now under the widget “Siste Facebook poster” (last Facebook posts). Similar explination here:

    Thank you

I have instructed the owner of the Facebook page to try to update the MORE INFO section instead of the STORY section and we’ll see if that works.

    Hello again

The description text on the Facebook Group is now updated to a new text, but still the same old description is shown.

Following the instructions at your link:

“Then go to this link. https://developers.facebook.com/ and click the menu item, ‘My Apps‘ then click on Add a New App.”

I can not find the menu item ‘My Apps‘. Has Facebook changed their page after your description was made?

    Hello

Do you have an app token I can try with?

I have asked the owner of the Facebook page to update the text and save it again to see if that helps.

    Thanks

    (@clavans)

I was not able to set the Facebook App token.

But why also your Feed them social demo page shows the old description and not the new one?

To me it looks like this is a problem with the Feed Them Social WordPress plugin since the wrong description is taken out of the Facebook page.

The old description was “Se hjemmesiden v?r om mer info om midlertidige ?pningstider i overgangsperioden. ?pningstider fra og med 30 januar 2013”.

The new description at Elgsethytta Facebook page is since more than one week “?pningstider p?sken 2018
fra og med l?rdag24/4 til og med mandag 2/4 ?pent alle dager fra kl 10-16 velkommen??”

    Thanks for quick update.
    Now it is working ??

Same problem here. Was fixed by the server administrator when .htaccess was modified:

“/www/mittdomene.no/www/.htaccess: RewriteRule: invalid HTTP response code for flag ‘R’, referer:https://mittdomene.no/”

Same problem here also. Wordfence reports several failed logins from many foreign countries even though local IP database is uploaded, backup external IP is set and all foreign countries are blocked.

Plugin does not seem to work at all. Wordfence live traffic login and logouts reports this still after activation of Admin Block Country plugin:

I tried with 60 and I was logged out after 60 minutes inactivity and redirected to the login page. Answer to the question is minutes. Works with WordPress 3.3.1.

I upgraded to WordPress 3.3 today and the problem is still there.

The JJ NextGen JQuery Slider plugin uses random transition effect as default unless the shortcode effect=”setting” is used. Setting can be:

    – sliceDown
    – sliceDownLeft
    – sliceUp
    – sliceUpLeft
    – sliceUpDown
    – sliceUpDownLeft
    – fold
    – fade
    – random
    – slideInRight
    – slideInLeft
    – boxRandom
    – boxRain
    – boxRainReverse
    – boxRainGrow
    – boxRainGrowReverse

It looks like it is only the 5 last “box” settings that cause the problem (and random). To avoid the problem some fixed transition effect can be used, for instance:
    [jj-ngg-jquery-slider gallery="1" effect="sliceDown"]

No solution yet. I also think it was OK with Twenty Ten.

Anyone else who knows another slider plugin that does not have this problem?

I missed this important plugin information when I posted my previous posts:

this plugin only adds/removes fields in the front-end.
The default information-fields will still be visible(and thus modifiable) from the back-end

In the front-end “profile Builder” seems to work as it should, but I prefer to hide certain fields in the back-end and this is not possible with this plugin.

The reason for preferring back-end filtering is since I use the plugin Subscribe2 and want to hide not relevant fields for subscribers when they log in and customize which categories they are receiving mails for. The plugin Contact Info Options does the necessary job with the back-end filtering.

    Regards
