Well, if you can’t even access the folder via FTP, you may need to get help from your hosts support, they can reset the permissions for you.

Something happened to your setup when you changed the permissions, usually it’s no trouble at all. WP is sending me my backups at fixed intervals, couldn’t be much easier than that.

If it’s worth it? Only you can answer that one ??

I assume you log into pop.gmail.com:995 with a ordinary pop client?
When logging into that gmail account, is the mail you wrote there? Just trying to find out if it was picket up or not.

Do you have access to the mailserver (SMTP) logs?

It looks almost identical in FF 2.0.0.2/IE6 here.
Add some top padding to your footer div is perhaps what you want?

The error message says what’s wrong I think.
Line 84 in wp-settings.php refers to /home/content/m/u/n/munkeytsar/html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php that doesn’t exist or isn’t readable it seems.

Maybe editing your wp-settings.php will do the trick.

Also, in your admin area, options (discussion?), tick so people need one comments approved before they will auto approve.

edit: I’m also using .htaccess blocking of IPs that’s spamming me, typically China, Korea for me.

In the file you postet from above, try replacing

with

<?php wp_list_bookmarks(); ?>

Can you read? I said “This is my footer.php”, not “make it like this”, *sigh*

I had a typo “Notice how the wrapper div is closing before the footer”, should have been “Notice how the wrapper div is closing after the footer”.

I figured clever guys such as you could figure it out, obviously I was wrong.

Do you remember what theme you are using? Login in with FTP and rename that theme folder to something like “_kubrick”, try logging in to WP again.

If that works, disable all plugins and add them one by one.

Is the “my-database-ip” host firewalled?
Is MySQL setup to allow connections from the outside?

Maybe you could use wp_list_bookmarks if you’re using WP2.1.
