OK – fixed it…. needed to specify the height and width of the caption wrapper parameters or they were basically ‘overlaying’ the link.

resaved permalinks – and now seems fine – not sure if that’s what fixed it though?

I’ve had this problem with products with variations only.

I’m using Simpleo theme.

I did the 2.1.4 update and it seemed fine – the add to cart was working on the products with variations – then when I added another regular product – the add to cart disappeared on all products with variations. I’d made no other change when it went from working perfectly to not working.

I’ve tried the suggestions in https://develop.woothemes.com/woocommerce/2014/02/solving-common-issues-after-updating-to-woocommerce-2-1/ it made no difference and I’ve tried reverting to 2.0.x and I still have the same issue.

Any other suggestions? I’ve had to take the site down while I try to get this fixed.

@photocrati thank you so much for your response – I performed the update from the admin (with the plugin deactivated) and it updated perfectly and is now working again without error. It was the first thing I thought I should do when I got the error – but didn’t want to go ahead without checking in case I made the issue worse. Thanks again!!

yes its on 2.0.0 – I currently have the nextgen folder renamed to keep the site up. I do have the option in admin to update the plugin to 2.0.33 but I was uncertain if I use the update in the admin whether that would update my install or cause more problems while I have the folder renamed? or do I need to manually update it?

@photocrati I’ve read right through this thread – I don’t think a new thread was started regarding the 3.7 update issue?

I have the Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() error after upgrading to 3.7 – nextGen was on 2.0 when I upgraded.

I’ve confirmed its the nextGen plugin as I’ve checked each one in turn and only nextGen active is causing the error – I currently have the folder renamed.

Is there a workaround?

Hi its the first chance I’ve had to get back in here.

Yes I tried a DB only and got the same issue – gave up in the end on that site an manually transferred.

Now I’ve having an issue with a restore – backed up a site fine then on restore just gives a blank screen. on the latest version of wordpress and clone.

will probably have to manually transfer again – clone just doesn’t seem to be working reliably any more.

Hi yes, I’ve found the same when I tested and I’m using 3.4.1.

What I did instead was install User Role Editor Plugin
It adds an option under ‘Users’
Select role Calendar Contributor Role (which I gave to my user so he can add calendar events) and add any extra acces they need (I used the Editor role for reference).

So now he can calendar access PLUS the extra access he needs as an editor.
