  • Hi Maruti,

I installed Matt’s Stop-Donor-Spam plugin, but I’m not seeing the link where I can add a spam donor to the list? In a previous version of GiveWP, it showed on the donor detail page as an option, but now, having re-installed Matt’s plugin, it’s not there.

I followed your advise to increase minimum donations to $25, and that has helped, but we’re still getting some from Egypt, Peru and Brazil.
    Please advise. Thanks! Chris

For the time being, we’ve decided to use Avada’s own built-in contact form.
    Thanks.

TTFB INFO: Here is the TTFB “Network” info from a test transaction I ran just now:

    1) Loading the checkout page: 1.44 sec
    2) After clicking “Place Order” and running Checkout process: 2.51 sec

Total processing time took 24 sec before confirmation/thank you/order ID appears. Browser behavior was the same as before (after clicking “Place Order” the screen goes opaque/greyish and doesn’t show spinning wheel, so it looks frozen). No fatal errors were generated in the Woocommerce LOG related to this transaction.

    OTHER OBSERVATIONS, POSSIBLY RELATED:

JQMIGRATE appears to be generating UNCAUGHT TypeError: Cannot read property ‘style’ of null at —
    – (index):214 generated 3 times during the checkout process)
    – ?key=wc_order_5af31eb76a843:211(anonymous) @ (same “?key=ww_order…”)

    WOOCOMMERCE SETTINGS > CHECKOUT SECTION: a) we don’t use “PayPal Express checkout”, and I don’t even see it there as an option now; b) could the order of the gateways have anything to do with this? We have only 2 gateway ID’s enabled: Braintree_credit_card gateway ID first, then braintree_paypal gateway ID second;

SHOP/CART PAGE LOAD: The cart is set to automatically redirect to the cart page when a person adds a product to the cart… what seems strange is that the “PayPal Checkout” yellow button doesn’t appear underneath the “Proceed to Checkout” button for 3 – 4 seconds.

    Thank you for your help.

I looked at the “LOGS” tab in the Woocommerce admin “Status” area. Found 3 Fatal Errors are listed there from yesterday. I suspect these are related to our latency issue, although I probably did 13 test purchases yesterday:

2018-04-23T01:24:59+00:00 CRITICAL Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1052672 bytes)

2018-05-01T01:25:38+00:00 CRITICAL Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1052672 bytes)

2018-05-08T18:06:27+00:00 CRITICAL Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1052672 bytes)
I contacted our webhost (InMotion) and they maxed out our server memory from 512 mb to 1 GB.

Before I do the next set of purchase tests, where can I find the network, and specifically TTFB info in the browser? I looked in Chrome under “Developer Tools, and saw the Task Manager, which has a “network” column, but don’t see where TTFB would be found there. Please advise. Thanks.

Great! Looking for an alternative to BackupBuddy (they don’t integrate with Backblaze). Will this be included with the Free version or a premium extension? If so, how much will it cost? Thanks!

When adding Twentyseventeen to the “ignore” list, I noticed two other Checksum Mismatches – akismet (4 URLs show what WP found vs. what it should be) and plugin “hello” (shows an expected/should be but not a “found”) – note: the Hello plugin does not exist in the plugins folder (I checked in FTP):

    wp-content/plugins/akismet/readme.txt
    wp-content/plugins/akismet/class.akismet-admin.php
    wp-content/plugins/akismet/akismet.php
    wp-content/plugins/akismet/class.akismet.php
    wp-content/plugins/hello.php

    Please advise. Thanks!

Is activation the same as “enabled”? If so, it’s definitely enabled, but still can’t see the options on the left nav admin bar. Please advise.

    HI Matt,

In the settings/General of the admin area, we’ve set the URL to https: for both WordPress (URL) and Site Address (URL). We’re also using Cloudflare that automatically forces the whole site to https. Please advise.

Hi Devin, I updated the plugin to 1.8.3, and the error in “settings” is gone, but the same problem is occurring with the db upgrade. I get the message at the top of the admin page – “click here to resume the upgrade.” – then the page “Give – Upgrades” page pops up “the upgrade process has started, please be patient…”

Then, as before, after a second or two, the system automatically logs me out and take me to the login page. Please advise.

    Hi Matt,

I did that. And clicked ” click here to resume the upgrade.” It logged me out automatically again. I noticed under “Add Ons” tab, this Fatal Error under “Default List” —

I have the same problem – can’t see Loginizer on the left nav / admin bar. I have to go into “Plugins” and click on “settings” but it doesn’t allow me to access the brute force rules. I’ve tried deactivating and re-activating, but it still doesn’t show up on the left admin nav bar. Please advise. Thanks!

Everything seems to be locked now. The resolution was manually fixing the URLs of non-https images, so this plugin won’t be needed for now. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the response @icyapril. Since the admin panel is not visible when this plugin is activated, it’s deactivated at the moment. Have you had that issue come up before, and if so, please advise. Thanks!

How do I direct the home page link to https? As you see in my last message, I’ve set the site in the General settings to Https. Do I need to change something with my registrar? Thanks again.
