Thanks again for your help. I repeated the steps you described this morning, including a full re-install of 3.7.1 (not manually this time). Although I lost my template changes, everything else is now up and running.

Hi, Thanks for getting back to me again.

I ran the error log and although there are log files there they don’t contain anything.

I’ve looked through all the wp-content files to try and find some kind of mistake, and I noticed that the set up was slightly different when I compared yesterday’s version to the current version.

I think I must have accidentally over-ridden some of these files when updating.

What’s the best way to deal with this?

I have access to my dashboard still so I can see all my posts are there, they just don’t appear when you click on the individual post link. All I get is:

Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Date_Query’ not found in /home/content/66/11608466/html/wp-includes/query.php on line 2303

Hi Tara, Deleted all plug ins, put in the Twenty Thirteen template and manually uploaded all the new files, which gave me access to my dashboard again and reactivated the home pages and about page. I am still getting the above error for posts though.
