Thanks for your answer but on the edit mode the book is set to publish and public visibility.
And nothing appear the new book added is not visible on my site.

I did it by using next gen
I created a new gallery then i added the pictures then i managed the album by selecting ” Photos” and I put the new gallery above the two existing

Hello I uninstalled and redownloaded and it is still does not work for changing the cover image.
