In reply to: [Co-Authors Plus] Documentation of CodingHey @miniwi, I’m pretty new to using Co-Authors Plus, but you might find some of the technical documentation helpful. Particularly the Readme.md and wp-cli bits.

Raymond,
Your analogy of a car not coming with a manual is not very apt for this situation. The entirety of www.remarpro.com is all about self-sufficiency. If you want to work on it (to carry the car analogy further) then you better be prepared to learn how to use a wrench. The developer of this extension does a fine job backing up WordPress. I’ve used it with success on a multitude of sites. Exactly what is says on the tin. Restoring, a word that doesn’t come up in any description of the plugin, is an entirely different situation that no plugin can make as simple as you desire.
A bit of advice, one I hope you have learned now, is to always test your backups. Don’t wait until you’re in an “Oh S**t!” moment to see if everything is working as it should. Testing your backups routinely is like changing your oil on a regular basis. Don’t wait until the engine is knocking. I say this not to be a jerk, but to help prevent future pains for you when this happens again.
I’m glad you got things up and running again. Rating this plugin with a single star for your own shortcomings in knowledge is a disservice to the developers and to the thousands of people that come looking for objective and useful reviews. I would encourage you to reevaluate your decision and be fair in your review.
