Yeah I have this problem too. would be great to have a ‘required’ checkbox that people have to click when uploading. just means we have ‘proof’ that customer agreed to receive newsletter even if they mark as spam.
It is actually the law to have an ‘opt-in’, certainly in the UK anyway. Many people use competitions for building up a mailing list so it really is a must for any competition
