In reply to: RSS feed displaying an XML file…not allowing you to subscribehi again
If I click on the RSS icon in IE, it takes me to my Google Reader
If I click on the RSS icon in Google Chrome, that’s when the XML file appears.
Isn’t there a way if somebody clicks on the RSS icon, it gives them the option of how they want to subscribe? (Google, Blogger, email etc)
Is there a plugin for that instead?
Thanks

I was able to uninstall and re-install the Thesis theme.
Everything was restored. Thanks again
Hi Voodoo
first, thank you for your response!
I have a free HTML editor and the filezilla FTP client.
I found the original php file. Apparently if you mess up with the php coding in Thesis, it can disable the site. so I do understand that I have to restore that file to the original somehow.
Can you try to walk me through as to how to re-upload the original file to the right place within my FTP client?
thank you again

In reply to: GoDaddy website & WP – first time installerok…glad I don’t have to relearn the wheel then…I am pretty comfortable with WordPress.com
so once WP.org is hosted (in our case, GoDaddy), we can manage it from any computer then? Makes sense, but this is all very new to me.
thanks again, govpatel

In reply to: GoDaddy website & WP – first time installeranother question…sorry for being dense
regarding multiple computers…can this be done “on the cloud”?
or do I need to make sure that WP software is installed on both computers, as well as FTP software?

In reply to: GoDaddy website & WP – first time installerok…then at least with the templating/plugin part, I’d probably be ok.
I’m just really befuddled as how to make the transfer and not screw up any directories.

In reply to: GoDaddy website & WP – first time installerI know WP.org platform is very customizable, but is it entirely different than wordpress.com? (which I use now for my own personal blog)
