Yes, still a problem. I did it manually after it screwed up too many times.

So the way I do things is I keep all my property websites in the same dbase, so the login for each is the same, however the path and table prefixes are different.

When I transfer, it goes through the whole thing but no data is transferred. The only thing that I see at the end is the wp-config on the destination site changes the table prefix to the source prefix. When I update the prefix in the destination site, the site is the original installation, not the transferred destination.

The app used to work near perfect whereas I had to change the prefix at the end but all the data moved, now no data seems to move.

Well, it doesn’t affect my access so FTP is unnecessary. I am not sure if it is a plugin. I only have installed Page Lists Plus and WordPress Importer, and I don’t really need either. I left Askimet and Jetpack which shouldn’t be any problem. I will let you know if this is the fix.

I did verify it was the site and not my local PC. Another person had the same issue. Never seen malware like that.

Has anyone had this experience? How do you rid a website of malware?
