However, we have isolated an issue with WooPayments 7.8.0 which is preventing some Merchants from responding to disputes; our Engineers are working on this issue as we speak, but we’re advising that Merchants roll back the WooPayments version to 7.7.0 if you’re unable to respond to a dispute.

First, I’d like to extend my apologies if you’ve felt like we’ve ignored your request to expand In Person Payments: this isn’t at all the case, but we clearly have some work to do to ensure our Merchants don’t feel this way.
While I can’t give any kind of timeline, I can tell you that expanding In Person Payments is very much on our radar, and we’re hoping to have some updates in this area in the near future.

We’ve been working with Stripe to shorten the Standard Pending Period for EEA and UK Merchants for awhile now, and I’m happy to report that we’ve moved from a 7 Day Pending Period to a 3 Day Period this week. CVC is checked by default, and Orders that fail CVC verification will always be blocked.
However, AVS Checks (Street Number, Postal/Zip Code) must be enabled, as some countries and card issuers due not support AVS mismatch checks.
Fraud Protection settings can be adjusted in the Advanced Configuration Settings, where you can adjust the AVS Mismatch settings, check IP addresses, and even set an Order Item limit.
