Civist does not provide ways to add custom fields, and the form’s title is static.

We will be adding two new fields soon, but we have no plans to add custom fields to Civist.

Please contact our support team directly from your Civist Dashboard and tell us which fields you need. Please bring up the form’s title too.

Currently, there is no phone field available.

We plan to include three distinct fields over the next couple of weeks: a comment field on next Tuesday, and a telephone field and a field for an organisation name in November.

Feel free to contact us through the support form in the Civist Dashboard of your WordPress if you need the telephone field sooner and we will see what we can do.

You are right, the documentation and help texts are a bit lacking currently. We are working on our help texts already, and a whole list of FAQs is in the makings already ??

I checked your petition page. It looks like the problem is caused by the text alignment. Please try to align the petition form to the left and check how it looks in a window with less than 768px width.

@lsilva30 It is not possible to disable the confirmation emails. If no confirmation email would be sent, anybody could sign your petition with faked or even stolen email addresses.

Feel free to contact our support directly from your Civist Dashboard if you have a specific use case that does not require a confirmation email.

Hi @hcarrier, You can change the styling with CSS. The wrapper class is civist-widget__civist-progress. If this does not do the trick for you, please contact our technical support directly from the Civist Dashboard or the petition’s edit screen.

@kennyschnetz the beta already started and you can join after you got your invite. Do you already use Civist for petitions? If so, just contact us directly from the Civist Dashboard in your WordPress.

The form’s language should be the same as configured in your browser. Could it be that your browser is set to use French as the first language?

Hi @dougjoseph, Thanks for giving Civist a try. Regarding your question: yes, very soon ?? We are currently in the final testing phase for version 5 of Civist. It has a new and shiny fundraising setup and the ability to use Civist’s fundraising outside the European Union and with currencies other than Euro. Let me know if you want to join our closed beta and I will send you an invite as soon as possible.

@lanesharon we were not able to reproduce the parse error with PHP 5.6 but with 5.3.29. The parse error complains about an array literal (introduced with PHP 5.4).

I’ll keep you posted.
