Thank you for your reply! I see my mistake now. I simply wasn’t aware of (the full) RFC 3986 and just copied the URL from the browser’s address bar, then dumped it as-is into WordPress when creating the hyperlink.
I tried to change such a literal “@” symbol in the code representing a HTTPS hyperlink to the proper, URL-encoded “%40”.
Works perfectly now! ??
