I can now get to the pages having the permalinks set up this way, by I do prefer the other permalink style. Does anyone have some suggestions?

BTW in case someone else ever has this problem, to fix the 403 error, I went into the cpanel for my website and manually changed the index style via the index manager, I’m guessing this overwrote whatever settings were making it work improperly as I have never used this tool before.

    I use inmotion hosting.

I just tried changing permalinks to the default type of /?p=# but now I’m getting 403 errors. I’m guessing this doesn’t have much to do with wordpress now and may be something else. Regardless if someone has an idea that could point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.
