Thank you! That did it. I love MailPoet! It is one of the most needed plugins I use.

I was stating that with my MailPoet setting there should be no conflict. However I was still getting the message to deactivate MailPoet 3 . When I updated to WP Mail SMTP Version 3.5.1, the message went away.

I thought some info on Mail Poet would help.
I avoid the conflict in a setting in Mail Poet.

Choice 1 means to let Mail Poet do it. Since I use Choice 2 (let WP Mail SMTP do it), no conflict. 8o)

That is great news. I see the new update is already available. I really like WP Mail SMTP and would like to continue using it. Especially since I pay for it. 8o)

Thank you for your reply. I do not feel comfortable adding code to my site, just plugins. I have resorted my site to a previous date to remove the update. WP Mail SMTP is a great plugin and I have been very happy with in the 15 months I have been using it. I need Mail Poet for my newsletter are very important. With that said, it would be best for me to deactivate WP Mail SMTP and use Mail Poet to send system emails as well as the newsletter. There is another plugin I can use to monitor the emails sent and it is Mail Poet friendly. Thanks again for a great plugin. I am sorry I will not be able to use it any more.

I am talking about emails that come from The Events Calendar directly, not from the forum. How do I stop getting emails from [email protected]. The “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email does not work.

I do not have access to the wordpress folders for my site is hosted at wordpress.com. Could you put in the next update to provide a “delete” option.

That does not help. My bulk action only provides “Activate” and “Update”. There is no “Delete” option.

What is really strange is that it did not work yesterday, but today it is working. I have no idea why. Fingers crossed it was a non-recurring episode.
