In reply to: child theme not using template file, no styling coming throughWhen I activate the child, all styling disappears. I have tried several things like no quotes, double quotes, cleared out some of the unnecessary lines, etc.
I have used child themes in the past, I can’t figure out what I am doing wrong.

I have some experience with css but not so much with php, I get confused how to attack certain things in the wordpress codex. Do you have any suggestions on specific reading to increase my knowledge of such things? Thanks Again!!

In reply to: Twenty Eleven Theme Menu ProblemThanks for the quick replies. Wow the front page has never looked like that. When I posted before it was just fine. It appears to have returned back to normal. I actually am using a child theme, I have only made some minor changes overall through my child theme. Anyway I will check into both of your suggestions and see what shakes out. Thanks again.
