Hi,
I tried adding that function that you suggested above. When I click approve on a new user, I get an error:

Warning: Missing argument 2 for my_custom_message() in /home/petstop/public_html/wp-content/themes/Avada-Child-Theme/functions.php on line 9

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/petstop/public_html/wp-content/themes/Avada-Child-Theme/functions.php:9) in /home/petstop/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 896

When I remove your function the error goes away. How can I edit the email sent to approved new users?

Sorry, I am not a developer. The only reason I thought it was your plugin is because the spammers were filling out the form fields weird that I added with your plugin. Now I think it is the Captcha plugin I am using. I went to their forms and can see that other people using that plugin are having the same problems.

I am using WP-reCAPTCHA now (someone on the Captcha forms said it works better).

Again sorry for thinking it was your plugin. Register Plus Redux works great!

@jrothra, no one has gotten back to me for a month now. And I haven’t figured it out yet, I had to work around it. Sorry.

Wow, that was really weird. I tried the [embed] shortcode and a few of the shortcodes that came with my theme, and none of them worked. But when I made a new page and tried them they all worked (and I didn’t do anything else different on the other page).

But it all works now, must have been some kind of bug or something. Thanks for the help!

Sorry (I am embarrassed). My site was using to much quota. I just had to increase my quota, then it worked after I re-uploaded it.
