    I believe you can go for a prefixed UUID style endpoint, such as “dm6545a6f5c”.

    Also, if checking for existing slugs is an option, you should do this if/when the user changes your default endpoint to something custom, i.e. if a collision is detected, put up a message to inform him.

    Never touched an “advanced” setting, especially to stay out of trouble. While I did get angry, not even now, when I’m cool, feel like giving more than one star to a plugin that made me loose one day of work. Sorry for that. Than lone star will stay there until I convince myself that there is something usable in your product. Will change it when/if that happens.

    Didn’t know you maintain one, no offense. And there was really no time. I need to get everything done by the end of this week. Will consider your plugin again when I have time, in a protected/sandbox environment.

    Something to look into: changing the timezone in WordPress might have had something to do with the issue. Gave me the “session expired” kick-out (although, phisically, there wasn’t a full hour since my login, but I believe the plugin, somehow, doesn’t use UTC internally — may I ask why?). When I was kicked out, I was sent to my custom login page URL, except, instead of showing a login form, there was a 404 error. Naturally, wp-login didn’t work either, not even after removing everything from the .htaccess, not even after removing the plugin’s tables from the DB. Sorry, but I just didn’t have more time for your plugin.

    Good luck, you seem to need it.

    I managed to do a

    delete from wp_bugerator_notes where user=0;

    to remove all anonymous comments, but that wasn’t the best solution, since I had entered a few anonymous comments myself (from laziness). But that’s the way it is, I suppose…

    There should be some UI for better management of comments, though, I think…

    Hey there,

    I’m afraid I cannot be of any further service to you, as I removed your plug-in, and switched to an alternative.

    Good luck with your project,
    Claudius
