The tables are named like “wp_bookaroom_closings” so wp_ is the prefix.

Are you using wp_ as the prefix?

The connect error probably means that it’s connecting to your database but not the tables themselves. Is the prefix the same on both? What are you listing as prefix and how do your table names show up?

As far as the images, you’d have to edit the template to change the image, there’s no setting at the moment to modify the side it shows up on.

The event calendar plugin part ONLY works with Book a Room. It’s actually an integral part of the whole plugin, but it was made separate so it could be hosted on another subdomain. We have meetings.heightslibrary.org and events.heightslibrary.org, but you do not have to run these on separate servers. They only work with their own tables so they won’t interfere with other plugin data.

What is the URL that is giving you the 404?

jon_arnold, with your theme, you might want to try changing the Meeting Room Settings > Settings > Screen Width to Narrow. It looks better on some themes.

I’m going to look into adding some additional checks to the database setup and make it work even better.

Lets starts with #1. None of the rooms display. Are your Room Containers set to “Public?”. Make sure that’s checked first.

Do you have access to turn Error Checking on (it’s in your wp-config.php file)?

If you click on View and Register on one of those, what do you see?

Interesting. When you configured the Database in the events calendar plugin, you connected just fine with no messages? (Under the normal WordPress settings, Event Settings)

I just checked your meeting room calendar and you entered a meeting, not an event.

You can see the time is filled by your Test meeting room reservation.

A meeting room reservation is a publicly reserved room and is done from the outside form.

An event is a staff created event and is entered in from the inside of your dashboard in the “Create an Event” menu.

Try using the Create an Event and see if it shows up on your calendar. Let me know if you see it!

If it’s showing in the meetings rooms page, then it’s not an event, it’s a meeting reservation.

Events show up on the event calendar. Meeting Room Reservations only show up on the meeting room calendar so that you can’t reserve a room that’s already in use (it shows events too for the same reason).

When I search on your page I don’t get any Event results. Do you have a link to your meeting room request page?

I just want to be double sure here since it’s hard without seeing things on your end:

1> You are entering an event, not a meeting request.
2> It shows up in your Manage Events list.
3> When you edit the event, you have NOT checked Staff Registration or “Internal/Do Not Publish”
4> The room that the event is in is checked as “Public?”
5> The branch that the event is in is checked “Available to the Public”

If all of these are true and it’s still not showing up, let me know.
