Same problem on my Woocommerce Subscriptions I have disabled it and using Stripe for the now.

Did you update any of these plugins which caused the issue? I ask because I dont remember updating anything I just remember the other day it stop working.

I am also having this problem. I have WP Mail SMTP installed I copied over my setting from that plugin and still no joy.

My problem is that no role has the permission to see a private post in the blog list. The only way you can view the post is if you are given the direct link to the post. I need it so that it shows in the blog list but only to logged in Users.

Categories (WP Core) doesn’t seem to work anyway. If you add this to your custom post type and then add posts to some categories when browsing the categories on the front end you will get the following error:

Nothing Found
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.

I am also trying it with the built in post type “posts” using a page as the blog page: https://www.cqwebdesign.co.uk/roadtorecoverygroup.org.uk/news/

I must be missing something because its not blocking them here either?

So far I have done the following:

Created a custom post type called: Conferences
Created a custom taxonomy called: Years
I have attached Years taxonomy to Conferences custom post type.

I have then created a template file archive-conferences.php and removed the normal loop and replaced it with some code that produces a list of terms from the Years taxonomy which you can click to take you to that terms posts.

Now I need to figure out how to show the custom taxonomy Years in a sidebar widget similar to the way Archives and Categories show in the default themes. I also need this widget to only show the custom taxonomy Years when looking at the Conference post type.

Anyone got any ideas ? ??

Thanks for the reply, I have tried increasing the Memory Limit however I am still getting the Out of memory error.

I have tried 256 MB, 512 MB, 1024 MB and even 4092 MB. It looks to me like it needs 84 MB from the above error message? when I take a look at the phpinfo() file the memory limit is changing.

Any ideas what it could be?

Having same issue.

Images have been uploaded to media manager. The file name is “changes_in_the_church_since_vatican_ii_front_cover.jpg” when I check it in media manager and in my CSV its:

featured_image
changes_in_the_church_since_vatican_ii_front_cover.jpg

Im using a static page ?? page name Blog and I also have a front-page set there also.

Unfortunatly while that did work its not what I wanted. When putting inside the loop it is pulling the featured image for each post on the page. I just want it to pull the actual featured image for the blog page.

For example:

I have a blog page which lists all post. The blog page has a featured image I want this to show at the top of the blog page as a background image. At the moment it is showing each indivual post featured image. Hope that makes sense. I am probably using the wrong code or somthing! I dont do much work with WordPress so im fairly new to it.

This is for the main blog page that lists all the posts, could this be the reason why?

I figured it out I was suppose to put that in my footer.php
