In reply to: [FIXED] Audioscrobbler?Right, WP-Scrobbler. That’s what I’m using and it won’t work for me. My lists are generating fine over at Audioscrobbler, but nothing’s showing up in my blog where this plug-in is installed.

In reply to: [FIXED] Audioscrobbler?I’ll chime in too with the “it’s not working” chorus. It looks like everything’s configured properly but I’m not getting any results on my page. Any suggestions?

In reply to: IE sidebar issueThe picture in question wasn’t in the right sidebar, it was in the main content column. Content in the right sidebar isn’t the issue.

In reply to: IE sidebar issueReviving an old issue here… This problem is still occurring. It seems the problem wasn’t a too-wide picture after all since that picture is off the front page now but the right sidebar is still aligning at the bottom left.
Can someone take a look and offer suggestions about what’s causing this? https://www.deadpan.net/pie
Thanks.

In reply to: Make me WittyThanks for the tip, vkaryl, I got McMike’s plug-in working. Too bad the witty wouldn’t work for me, it would have been nice to be able to just plug-and-play rather than having to muck about in mysql. Thanks for the help to Lorelle and F1 too.

In reply to: Make me WittyOops, correction, the fatal error is pointing to the template file I pasted the witty reference into.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Make me WittyI copy/pasted your code directly into my sidebar.php file (even though I knew your “Thoughts” reference wouldn’t work).
Result: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: witty() in… and it points to the directory witty is in.
I have witty.txt in the wp-content folder, witty.php is in the plugins folder. I’m cool with formatting the actual quotes I want witty to use, but I can’t get witty itself to work. Does anyone have any idea what I’m doing wrong here?

In reply to: Make me WittyWell, I can’t get the hang of it. I’m trying to run it in a specific spot on my right sidebar and all it’s outputting is an error code about witty () being unspecified. I only got that far by reading posts about it here.
Does it have to be in the index.php or am I breaking it by putting it in my right sidebar? If the sidebar placement is okay, can someone tell me exactly what code I’m supposed to be putting in, and if I have to edit anything else along with it?

In reply to: Make me WittyLooks like a pretty cool plug-in. Too bad the install instructions are worthless.

In reply to: IE sidebar issueOooooooohhhhhhhh. Okay, I feel like an idiot now. But thanks for figuring that part out for me. ??
Any ideas on the no-highlighting-sidebar-boxes hover thing?

In reply to: WordPress Theme: ComplicatedI can’t get to it either. Clicking on the screenshot just reloads the page.

In reply to: Can’t post comments, thinks I’m logged inMac, I’d actually like to get rid of Churk, but I imported 576 entries under that name and I’d rather not lose most of my blog. Is there a way I can change authorship of all Churk’s entries over to my admin id and then get rid of it?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Can’t post comments, thinks I’m logged inGot it! Churk had a nickname but never had a login. I created a login for that user, then logged the annoying p.i.t.a. OUT, and now my comments are available again.
Now I gotta figure out how to transfer all the imported posts out from under Churk and put them under my “real” blog id.

In reply to: Can’t post comments, thinks I’m logged inI can’t seem to log in as Churk either, the system says that user isn’t in the database — but it’s right there on the users page in the dashboard.
