Thank you! I was playing with it further and it also appears the feature in Otter does not work in some nested situations, i.e. in a header that’s in a template. I’ll get some screenshots and add them, should that be a separate issue on github? (I assume this and otter share a codebase?)
Was that always a function of the theme? I swear this used to be an easy flip of a switch sort of thing (I haven’t used WP in several years, just catching up on the transition to blocks/gutenberg/etc)
