I have the same message on a localhost site and it will not let me login to phpmyadmin. it does not recognize the password as yes option and it will not take no either. What do I do?

I cannot get into the site or into phpMyAdmin

I tried to login to phpMyAdmin and got this message:
#1045 – Access denied for user ‘Chuckm97’@’localhost’ (using password: YES)

I don’t know how to repair tables and I tried using the backup with the same error message.

Well changing the maximun-execuition_time worked. I changed it to 500 for the first site and it updated WordPress. On the second site which is almost exactly like the first one I had to change it to 1000 before it would update.

Now why would I have to use a FTP service to update it. I have a FTP service but have never had to use it to update WordPress

Windows 10 with wamp but wamp won’t update either because it says the files are already there, choose another directory

I guess the perms are ok since the site works without this update

It opens up the editor for the homepage. The word edit is not on the edited homepage but it appears on the screen when you visit the site. When you click on the word edit on the sites homepage it opens up the page called home for editing.

I am using the twenty-sixteen theme and it is in the middle of the page when you view the homepage

How can I control where the slide shows up on the apges?

The reason is that the file is too big. It just sits there and circles and circles. How I change WordPress to accept bigger files I have no idea. I do know that when I rename the file and try to go back into my website it brings it right up without WordFence. So I need to learn how to change a file to make it accept the bigger file or try and find another Security plug-in none of which I understand how to setup.

Well I renamed WordFence and now it has open up my wordpress site. I haven’t renamed the file back to its regular name because I am afraid it will take me out again
