I replaced my theme with the latest version of the theme at woothemes . Doing that fixed it for me .

Hi Andrew – I’ve been working with woothemes support on this for about 11 days, and it’s been slow going finding a fix (especially since woo did away with the support forum).

Since it seems others are having the same issue with the same theme, I thought we might be able to share information and figure out a fix.

I’m dealing with a similar issue with the slider not showing in my delicious magazine theme, and it seems like it might be related to something with the WordPress SEO plugin. When I deactivated and reactivated my plugins one by one, that was the one that caused the slider to disappear again.

Again, I’m not 100% sure it’s the problem, but I noticed someone else having the same issue and asking about it in the support forum for WordPress SEO here at www.remarpro.com.

I’m having the same problem – was able to narrow it down to WordPress SEO. When it’s activated, I get a blank slider image on the index page. When it’s deactivated, it seems to come back. I’ve got the plugin turned off right now, but you can see the slide in question at https://www.chubstr.com

Hi Michael – The one above is an option, but I also found that WooThemes.com has recently released one that seems to work, called WooSlider. I think it’ll do exactly what we’re looking for, but it might require some work. Either way, it’s $35 or something, so it’s worth investigating.

We’ve got a test version of the site – I’ll update that and remove the other plugins and test it. If I get the same issue, I’ll reach out to you again. Thanks for the quick reply!

Hi Joost – I wanted to check back in with you on this. Is there anything we should be doing on our end with the plugin settings to get it working again? It looks like it’s kept our original settings, but it just won’t let posts through to the index.

Hi – original poster here. Sorry for the delay. It’s working for me now. Thanks for updating it!

I thought I’d follow up with a few suggestions for people who are looking like I was:

• Smooth Slideshow
• SDAC Post Slideshows
• WP photo text slider

I’m not sure how well they work – just integrating them now. If you come across this post and have a better solution, please add it.

Is there a better forum to get replies regarding this plugin? Everything I’ve posted since installing has gone unanswered.
