In reply to: [Code Embed] Would be nice if there WAS an “FAQ”.Not sure if it’s a recent addition, but this info is located in the FAQ;
CAN I USE THIS PLUGIN WITH THE NEW BLOCK EDITOR (AKA GUTENBERG) / WORDPRESS 5.0 AND ABOVE?
Yes, you can. By default, custom fields are hidden inside the block editor but can be revealed.Edit a post
Click the settings button (three dots) in the top, right-hand corner
Go to Options
You will find a tick box to display the ‘Custom Fields’ meta boxHope that helps in some way.
Gijo, thank you for your fast reply!
I appreciate the help! I’ll add the stat scripts and I’ll try adding the theme scripts and just check my site for errors to ensure it works ok.
Thank you for creating such helpfu plug-ins.
Hi Gijo, thank you for the quick reply. I understand that Flying images handled it differently.
I’m looking to replace Optimole with something more lightweight that won’t hurt my site’s loading time as much. I’m currently using Optimole and Cloudflare. Your plug-ins are the best I’ve found by far and thought it would be a good replacement.

In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Sitemap resulting in 404So Namecheap offered to rewrite the four rules I needed to have reconfigured. The problem is, the changes are only temporary. They wouldn’t explain why they’re not permanent but it is what it is. Thing that doesn’t make sense to me is that my sitemap was working until about 9 months ago.

In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Sitemap resulting in 404Antonio, thanks for the heads up about Closte. My current contract with Namecheap expires at the end of this year so it’ll be a perfect time to look into switching to a new host.

In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Sitemap resulting in 404Aubrey, thank you for your reply. I’m new to using hosting of any kind and chose namecheap simply due to costs. It’s very sad and extremely frustrating that they (and others) chose to do what they’ve done. I ditched Yoast for SEO Framework for many reasons and this seems like it was the right decision.
I’ll reach out to Namecheap and see if they’re willing to help me on their end. If I can’t figure that out, are there other alternatives? I’d like to keep the SEO framework even if it means using something different solely for my sitemap.
Hi Ethan,
I’ve gone through those steps and the problem persists. I’ve only been able to narrow it down to the plugin being present. As soon as I uninstall it, the problem disappears. I’ll re-read the article and double check to ensure I didn’t miss anything.
Ruben, Thank you for the explanation. It was confusing to me but everything seems to be working just fine.

In reply to: Post title images no longer showing up.Tried installing the Health Check plugin. Can’t enter Troubleshooting mode.
“We were unable to copy the plugin file required to enable the Troubleshooting Mode.”
Can you tell me where you found that incorrect HTML on my site? I’d like to try and fix that src section by hand, if possible. It’s obvious to me that the URL needs to be fixed.
Thanks for the help. It’s really appreciated!
