Thanks for including it Jeff – it will make a big difference!
Do you have a rough idea of when you might release the next version?
Chris
I think that’s right, that I’m asking for something like a %%username%% shortcode. Yes please.
Hi there,
I’m just doing some testing with this, and although I select ‘User Lost Password – For User’ in BNFW and then “enable” from the All Notifications page, my new version isn’t the one being sent.
Only the previous (default WordPress) version is being sent.
Are there any known issues which might be causing this?
Thanks,
Chris

In reply to: [Adminimize] menu items not shown to userHi Frank. I think I’m experiencing a similar issue: there’s a plugin I have installed which has a menu item that simply doesn’t show up in Adminimize, and which I also therefore can’t actually show to my sub-admin users.
It’s the last menu item in the list of all my menu items. Specifically it’s called “WPStream”.
I’d be very grateful if you could help investigate please!
Chris

Brilliant, Ben. Fantastic news.
I’ve installed the plugin update and re-tested. Can confirm the fix.
Many many thanks for your rapid response and excellent guidance and help!
Chris
Ben,
Just looked at your screenshot again. One quick thought: you’re looking at the ‘manage’ screen for buddymeet there in the group.
Can you go back into the test server, switch on buddymeet in a group, go into the group itself (not just ‘manage’) and click on buddymeet in that group so that a call tries to fire up?
*That’s* the bit that’s not working for me – the calls don’t start.
Thanks,
Chris
Hi Ben,
Thanks so much for getting back to me. I really appreciate it.
I’ve tracked down ‘rocket-loader’ – it comes from Cloudflare (my CDN) – speeds up time to paint on pages running js. When I switch it off, there’s still an error and BuddyMeet still doesn’t load.
But when I switch off BSR, then BuddyMeet does load.
This is the new error I see when rocket-loader is off, and BuddyMeet and BSR are on at the same time:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Identifier 'settings' has already been declared invites.js?ver=5.5:3 /demo/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
Is ‘settings’ something which BSR declares, perhaps?…
I’m not a developer so diagnosing this is unfortunately not my strongest suit, and your help is appreciated.
The folks at BuddyMeet haven’t got back to me yet.
Thanks,
Chris
