We shifted site from A to B, where B was a carbon copy of A. Basically going from test site A to the the official live shop site B. In this process we copied site A to its new destination B, in the process site A was disconnected from PayPal Zettle POS.

What I found was that all products from site A are still visible in the PayPal Zettle POS software on the checkout iPad, basically showing two of each SKU in the system, whereas only one is connected to WooCommerce. What I’m now trying to do is to flush out all that old data that is no longer connected to WooCommerce. I hope I’m making sense.

Hi @inpsydekrystian and thank you. I phrased it the wrong way, it does indeed work the other way around. The challenge occurs when we have stock variances. When all variations of a variable product are out of stock the product stops syncing and can no longer be scanned. Any positive variances would not be scannable. What would be nice is to still sync the product and then for the cashier to scan and manually adjust the stock level after seeing 0. Does that make sense?

Would also be great to understand the reasoning for treating simple and variable products differently.

Excellent stuff! Should we expect this field to be included in the native export/import function in the near future? The export snippet works fine but when I’m trying to create a snippet for import everything seems to be fine on the surface but no values are imported to the GTIN fields across simple products and variations. Would anyone have a snippet also for import?
