In reply to: Some pages not displaying correct when logged inI found the culprit.
It’s the WP-optimize plugin that causes this.
I’ll talk to the developer to find a solution.
Thanks for the help!

In reply to: [Ads.txt Manager] Where is the ads.txt file?I think I solved it. Not sure how. But it seems to work.
Thanks for the help!
Hi,
Thanks for your support.
All seems to work now.
Thanks again.
Hi,
I suddenly saw another site that I own/manage that doesn’t and shouldn’t display adsense.
I deleted that site.
Now the site where I want ads to display says that the ads.txt is ‘unauthorized’ again.
Not sure how and why this happened.
When I look at my WP backend, the Site Kit plugin says all is good.
Still the pink warning sign is there.
Hi,
Thanks for the update.
It all looks ok. But it doesn’t.
The ads.txt says in green ‘approved’
However, at the top of the page it still says: ‘
Earnings at risk – You need to fix some ads.txt file issues to avoid severe impact to your revenue. Fix now Learn more
What is going on now?

In reply to: [Ads.txt Manager] Where is the ads.txt file?Thank you!
Why does the Site Kit plugin (Adsense) still tells me my ads.txt is ‘Unauthorized’ ?
Hi,
Before doing what you earlier suggested, there is one thing that I don’t understand and doesn’t go away.
When I check on the Adsense site under ‘Manage your sites’ and look at ‘ads.txt status’ it says ‘Unauthorized’.
I’m very sure the ads.txt file I had in my Root directory had the correct publisher ID.
I even installed a plugin that should my publisher ID to my website (apparently that is put in the WP DB somewhere and when I check https://culturematters.com/ads.txt it shows).
At the time of this writing I’ve done the above more than 24 hours ago.
What am I missing here?

In reply to: [Ads.txt Manager] Where is the ads.txt file?Hi
Thanks for the answer.
Why do I read on the Adsense page you should put the ads.txt file in the root directory of your site?
How can Google otherwise check if the necessary data is there?
Or is there anything else I should be doing? Like add this ads.txt file in my root directory?
Hi Adam,
I’ve filled in the Google form.
With whom do I share my screenshots?
It would be good if the Google form could accept uploads as well.
I couldn’t add a video. I have 3 screenshots that I could share but don’t see an upload possibility.

In reply to: Autoloaded options could affect performanceWhat I did was:
*** Make a backup of your site AND your DataBase ***
1. Delete all the plugins that you don’t use.
Install a plugin called WP-Optimize; this lets you delete tables that are left behind by badly designed plugins.
Then I went to browse through MyPHPadmin. This gives you the opportunity to delete whatever you want to delete (be careful). E.g. I’ve never used Jetpack plugin. But still in the wp-options table there was residue of that plugin.
My wp-options autoload now is 980Kb. It came down from 2Mb+Let me know if you’d like to know more
Great! Looking forward to it.
Thanks
Would it be possible to add this option?
Downloading from e.g. Google Drive file by file all together doesn’t work either.

The article is way over my head. Option C seems the most viable for me.
