You need to enter the email address as “mailto:[email protected]” and it will work.

Doesn’t look like you have the widget activated right now, so it’s impossible to troubleshoot any issues with you until it’s activated. I would suggest uninstalling and then re-installing the widget. If you have any other social network widgets (like whatever is currently loading your icon set), deactivate it to ensure there is no conflict between sets.

Can you share the link you’re trying to use?

I didn’t have any trouble with it on my local install. What’s your work environment?

Are you setup for Bleeding Edge Nightlies? I had to switch mine over to that and then I downloaded and installed it in just a couple of minutes.

Thanks for the input. I finally had time tonight to work on my installation again to straighten things out. I think one problem I was having was that the .htaccess file wasn’t being generated for some reason. I copied the file from my previous installation and added the lines of code you recommended to force 1&1 to use PHP 5 and it works great now. I installed a handful of themes and plug-ins to test everything out and it works better than ever.

Pulled out my custom files from my FTP server then uploaded the new files and replaced my files into the upgrade. Not sure why that didn’t work the first time I tried it.

Problem resolved.

OK. I’ve installed the new files. I can log in again, but I still can’t see my blog itself. It loads to a blank page. blog.chrisrouse.us
