Disable responding from mailbox

Is there any way to disable the ability to respond to a comment right from the mailbox? Some people do not go to the site to respond but reply directly. Unfortunately this is possible with this plugin.

This is not in my interest since I want all comments to be visible to other readers and surely I want more traffic on my site.
