hm, I think you didnt really read my text or? ?? I use cloudflare and w3 total cache and resize all images before I upload them

But the main question is really if the sharing buttons should be removed and replaced by simple JPGs files or not

Yes it is still live by intention since I have my followers there and its still the first site that shows up if you google for “chris on tour”

Thats why I decided to keep it up with a bunch of links leading to my new blog URL. But all links on my new URL should be chrisontour84.de and not the old wordpress.com anymore, so im not sure why it just worked for like half of my pictures

So for the standard images, I am totally fine using the wordpress file name. But why wont it give me that option for the non standard and panorama images? Thats the only issue left now ??

So, i checked one more thing. Now I turned of Photon again and when I right click and copy image the “standard sized” images, I get a correct resizing.

First image: https://www.chrisontour84.de/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/DSC01219-1024×575.jpg

So instead of the “resize” Parameter, i just have a “-1024×575” part at the end of the picture.

That works fine for all pictures of that size, however I cant use this parameter on Panoramas or any pictures I cropped, for example this one: https://www.chrisontour84.de/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/DSC01389-1024×575.jpg

It just does not find the image anymore, even if I adjust the parameter to match the original W/H ratio.

Any idea on how to fix that and display the panoramas? If we can get this to work it would be perfect as I do not need to activate Photon anymore and I can still quickly get my Image URLs ??

Thx for the video! I have the same result, however the resize information is way to small since it takes the thumbnail size, for instance: https://i0.wp.com/www.chrisontour84.de/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/DSC01222.jpg?resize=379%2C145

If i clicked on one of the pictures to get a bigger version of it, and then copy the image url, I would get the URL with a differen resize information in order to post it into a forum. Example: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trip-reports/1739802-trip-report-torres-del-paine-patagonia-chile.html

And I would really try to avoid having to manually adjust the resize parameter for each picture ??

The thing is, I am looking for a super fast way to get the URLs including the resizing information so I can copy/Paste them into a forum where I keep posting updates about my blog updates. It will take too much time to always inspect elements and find the correct URL.

In my old WordPress.com Blog, I could just open the picture from the gallery, right click and copy the image URL and it was done. THis also worked with Photon from the first update (https://www.chrisontour84.de/2016/01/13/live-82-torres-del-paine-patagonia-chile-day-1/), so Im trying to understand why it is not working for the second one… (https://www.chrisontour84.de/2016/01/29/live-83-torres-del-paine-patagonia-chile-day-2/)

UPDATE: Now it is not even working for the first update anymore, so this is really strange and it would be nice to have a better solution for my problem other than Photon maybe.

I totally agree on that and have the same for this post. However, for my new post it is not the case anymore and I wonder why, since I have not done anything different. Even tried to turn off and on Photon again without any luck.

That only works before I click on the picture. However, the scaled version is too small. If you first left click on any panorama in the gallery and then right-click and copy image adress, it will not have the resizing information in the URL anymore
