In reply to: My Custom ThemeYour sidebar headings are overpowering the list items, perhaps consider a larger font size for the body text and list items.
The general layout is very nice though.

In reply to: Soulwire Illustration websiteReally cool. The only suggestions I might make is to spread your content out a bit, it seems a little squashed in the middle and your post headings, perhaps make them a bit larger. Looks good though.
#rap {margin: 0 auto;}
That ought to solve it.

In reply to: Scattershot designI used a template called Simple T from Taly
https://www.fivebyfive.com.ar/wp-themes/themes.htmlThen customized it for my needs. It works terrific, I can upload images from within wordpress and a quick copy and paste, the template automatically creates archives.
Requires a couple of plugins, but give it a look.

In reply to: My New Look (again)The layout is great, but the contrast of the sidebar is really a difficult transition on the eyes. Perhaps go with a softer shade of grey or blue. Also, the content text, you may consider going again with something a tad softer. Other than that, looks terrific.

In reply to: blog and domainA link to the site would be helpful.
Are you trying to have a “blog” or news section to your existing website or do you want your blog to be the main part of the site, it was a little unclear what you are trying to accomplish. You’ll need php-exec for wordpress 1.5+ or exec-php for wordpress 2.0+
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Putting PHP on a WordPress “Page”If you’re using WP2.0, you’ll need exec-php as php-exec will cause you errors.

Lucinda offers something slightly different, but has good readability. Check out Steve Smith’s site

In reply to: WordPress Redesign – Criticism RequestedMuch better on the layout. Maybe in your sidebar links, undo the underline, there seems to be too many horizontal lines. Also, the post dates maybe make them smaller than the post title.
But looking good, I like the mono color scheme.
Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: WordPress Redesign – Criticism RequestedYour content column is too wide for my taste and makes it difficult to read as the eyes must travel too far across the page. Also, consider lightening up your post titles and darkening your date titles.
Just some suggestions.

In reply to: Do you use Firefox 1.5 and you’re missing Aardvark?Oh man am I glad it’s finally available. I’ve been using the CSSViewer extension and it’s really not up to snuff like Aardvark.
If you don’t have it or never used it, get it. It is indispensible.
