My apologies for the delay in responding, Gerroald!

I enabled the setting to delete all data upon plugin deletion, then I deactivated and deleted Wordfence. Then, I reinstalled and activated it. Everything seems to be fine, now! Thank you for all of your help! I will start a new thread if I have any further issues.

I appreciate the suggestion, @leemaynard, but that did not resolve the issue. While it did reduce the height of the header, by eliminating the padding at the top and bottom, it did not remove the white space below the header. Once agan, I do appreciate the thought, though.

I didn’t realize that you are using the Zerif theme, and not Make, or I would have advised you that it might not work.

When you do find the right code snippet, I recommend installing the Simple Custom CSS plugin (free) and inserting the code into the area that that plugin provides.

To reduce height of footer in Make:

To further reduce height of footer in Make:

I would also recommend joing some WordPress-related Facrebook groups. They have been a very important source of assistance. Just go to Facebook and search for “WordPress.” I recommend WordPress Plugins and WordPress Help & Share.

I am having the same problem. When people submit forms on one of my clients’ website, she is receiving notifications either days later or not at all.

@jimhill: I tried deleting the logo, clicking ‘Save & publish,” and then re-inserting the logo/ No luck. Thanks for the suggestion.

@voodynet: I don’t code, so I am reluctant to alter the stylesheet info.

My apologies to both of you for not responding sooner. For some reason, despite the fact that I checked off that I wanted to be notified of replies, I did not receive any notifications.

I have used Make for a while, now, and I have never had this problem until I used it on the site that I have referenced. Perhaps it has something to do with a recent theme update, as @jimhill suggested.

Any other suggestions would be welcome.
