This plugin is a Gutenberg block and requires you to use the new block editor introduced in WordPress 5.0

Unfortunately you can’t use it as a shortcode.

Thanks for your suggestion. We’ve deliberately added a prefix to make anchor links unique, however I understand you might want to change this. I’ve added it to our roadmap.

You could duplicate your Glossary block add then add as a “reuseable block”. When in the editor hover over the block to find these options.
