  • You need to go into your FTP client create a new folder in the wp-content folder (i.e plugin-test) move all the plugins you recently added to the plugins folder into the new folder you just created, this will automatically deactivate them and you will be able to access your plugin section in the dashboard.

Then you can add one at a time back into the plugins folder and see which one is causing the issues…

NOTE: check the wp-backup plugin as well, I have had some problems with that over the past couple of months. And be sure that WP is up-to-date.

You are using WordPress 3.0 for this?

If the plugin does not work in the mu-plugin folder it may not support WordPress MU or WordPress 3.0 Networks…

    2 options:

    1. In WordPress 3.0 in order to allow other users to have plugins do this,

Put the plugins in either the mu-plugins or plugins folder (which ever, but if they do not work in the mu folder use the main plugin folder)

Then “network activate” the plugins you want the whole network to have access to from your dashboard.

Then go into “supper admin” -> “options” at the very bottom of the page uncheck plugins and save settings

Users will no longer have access to plugins..

    2. Use this plugin to select the plugins you want to show or hide for the network users

Here is what I am currently setting up for one of my websites…Which is similar in nature to your need…

I do video tutorials and offer them in a membership, however, I also see the benefit of having those tutorials available for individual purchase (pay-per-video), so I am setting up an option for people to buy one video at a time…(sadly wishlist does not support this).

I am using these two awesome plugins to configure this site…(these two plugins come from the same developer so they are designed to integrate easily!)

    eMember

    eStore

What I would suggest you do is set up eMember with as many membership levels as you have Training Programs, each program is its own membership level…Then us the eStore plugin to handle the purchasing…so when someone purchases they choose the Training Program they want and they will then have access to it.

Both of these plugins are simple to use, and anyone can manage the content very easily!

Does that help? Have anymore questions let me know…

    1st issue:
To access you new blog and write a post you need to go to,
Super Admin -> Sites -> Hoover over your new site name click on “Backend”

That will get you to the new dashboard and it works like any WordPress site.

(not sure if I understand your question completely?)

    2nd issue:
To edit the site url you need to do this,
From Super Admin -> Click on Sites -> hoover over the site you want to edit-> click edit -> edit the url in the first section (titled Site Info) of the edit page -> click update options for that section

    Then do this,
Go to the second section titled “Site Options” (same edit page) change the “Siteurl” in the first box (if it is still incorrect) -> click update options for that section

(Let me know if this helped at all, I am having some difficulty understanding your requests completely)

Can you offer some additional info…I am not sure I completely understand what you are trying to accomplish, so I am unsure which of the hundreds of plugins developed for membership sites would fulfill your needs..

So does each user (client) need to have a unique membership so they can have access to unique training materials? Or is this more generic training that just needs to be protected until paid for?

If you use a plugin like WishList Member you can determine what content is protect or not protect, and what membership level has access to the specific content. And you can specify by category, page, post, or even sections of a page or post.

With more info I may be able to offer some additional help/suggestions!
