The issue isn’t dependent on the version of WordPress or MI.
Notably, the bug will only auto-update MonsterInsights. Our code from the beginning was designed to ignore all other plugins on the site since our setting was only for our plugin.
What we’ll be doing is issuing a new version tomorrow (8.10.1) that fixes the comparison. After which everyone will be good to go from that point forward.

Hi there,
While we didn’t change any code with regards to our auto-update setting, there is an unfortunate bug in it that caused the set value to be ignored that’s been there for years but never been hit due to the version number. We’ll have this corrected in our next version,
While our setting does allow for the addition of the minor updates, our plugin offered the ability for users to opt into auto-updates years before WordPress had that feature built into core, so a huge amount of our users rely on that feature to get them.

I think you have us confused with a different plugin.
You do not have to, nor are asked at any point, for credit card information for our free version.

Hi there,
It does but just a heads up we have a super simple setting for this in our plugin in the Advanced tab of our settings: https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/how-to-allow-user-roles-to-access-the-monsterinsights-reports-and-settingsI would recommend using this to do it

Hi there,
The widget data for Lite users is updated once per day through the API, and shows the last 30 days (exclusive of the current day).Resultingly, the data wouldn’t change regardless of the number of times it was refreshed, since the value of last 30 days is a fixed number (no other date range is possible through the API the lite version uses).
If you’d like to have the widget include the current day’s data, you’d need to upgrade to the Pro version.

Hi there,
MonsterInsights is already compatible with WordPress 6.0. Our team tests all new versions of WordPress before they are released, so we are always compatible with new versions on release day. We will make sure the indicator on .org is updated.-Chris
Hi there,
Our plugin is in compliance with all www.remarpro.com guidelines. As one of the most installed WordPress plugins globally, we are audited regularly for compliance and security.-Chris
Hi there,
We work with Google’s team extensively on keeping our users up to date and ready to go.As a result, we’ve supported Google Analytics v4 since September so you’re all set to switch or begin dual tracking into it.
I’d recommend reading our guide from launch (https://www.monsterinsights.com/introducing-google-analytics-4-dual-analytics-tracking-for-wordpress/) & our UA sunset post (https://www.monsterinsights.com/universal-analytics-sunset-what-it-means-what-to-do-now/) as they walk through GAv3 vs GAv4 vs dual tracking so you can make the best choice for your needs. Particularly for existing sites, generally we’d recommend dual tracking.

Hi there,
Google’s team is working on the reporting APIs only. It does not affect tracking or anything frontend to your website. If Yoast is seeing something, it’s not seeing us when reporting whatever it’s reporting, as the maintenance mode alert is not surfaceable to their plugin. The 503 on ryte.com is not related to the maintenance Google is doing. That’s an issue on the servers for the external service that Yoast is pointing people to.
-ChrisIt should be available currently.
We are working with Google on deploying a series of updates this week during each afternoon this week. We’re trying to keep how much it affects users to a minimum, so the majority of users won’t be affected, but there will be a set that likely overlaps each day.

Hi there,
Please make sure your copy of MonsterInsights is up to date.If it’s not up to date, it will show the wrong year’s numbers as it won’t have the code changes we pushed out in December to update the year.

Hi there,
The ExactMetrics team is very small, and we’re providing 1:1 support to over a million users, it can take some time, but I promise we do the best to get to everyone as soon as possible-Chris
Not a problem!
I’ll ask our marketing team to update the blog post to make that more clear.

One quick point of clarification (since someone else just asked our support team this), when using our dual tracking mode, the GA property that’s authenticated is the property the reports are based on, so if you are tracking into both types via our dual tracking mode you will want to authenticate/re-authenticate to the GAv3 property as the authenticated property type, and then enter in the GAv4 identifier (G-) into the settings panel below after authenticating if you want to use the GAv3 reports that have bounce rate on them.
