In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Warning after activation: The plugin generated 241..I got this today on a new install as well. What’s going on?
M Asif Rahman, thank you so much! That worked, and I now have access to my dashboard again. Thanks a lot.
Hey Frederick,
I just updated to the latest version this morning, and the pages on my site are coming up, but I can’t access the admin section anymore. Anytime I try to access the admin pages I get the following error page:

Any idea what I can do?
Is there a way to make these CSS edits in my main CSS file rather than in the sharedaddy/sharing.css file? I’m concerned that I would have to re-implement them every time I update the plugin if I commit them directly to the sharing.css file.
I basically just want to add some space between the end of the article and the sharing buttons. Should I use margins for that?
I tried enabling APC for database caching for a night, and it seemed like during that time my CPU utilization went up quite a bit, to 50 or 60%. When I switched back to memcached it went back down to normal levels though. Would it be normal to see CPU usage go up when enabling APC for database caching?
Or alternately, if you have a choice between APC or Memcached on a VPS, should you use one of those, or is it better to use no database caching at all normally?

In reply to: [podPress] [Plugin: podPress] Optimal setup between PodPress and FeedBurnerThank you Tim!
In case anyone else comes across this thread, so far the Feedburner feed seems to be working fine without turning on “SmartCast” in Feedburner, although I’ve only only been using it for a couple of days. I’m still not sure if it would have a positive or negative effect on the feed if I turned SmartCast on, although I suspect that it isn’t necessary if you are already using PodPress.

In reply to: How to remove extra white space above header? In older versions of the theme the background behind the header text was transparent, but recently when I upgraded to the latest version that area has a white background now. I can’t seem to figure out how to make the area behind the title of the blog transparent again. Does anyone know where this is in the CSS?

In reply to: [WP-Footnotes] [Plugin: WP-Footnotes] Choose where to put footnotes on page@huyz – Yes, I’m looking for the same thing as turkeyphant. I’m writing encyclopedic articles in which I want to put a bibliography after the endnotes, so I would like to be able to place the endnotes in other locations on the page. It seems like a shortcode would be the best way to accomplish this, although I’m not sure how to modify the plugin to accomplish this. It seems like a feature that users of other footnotes plugins are requesting as well, although so far no one has been able to deliver.

In reply to: [WP-Footnotes] [Plugin: WP-Footnotes] Choose where to put footnotes on pageYeah, not just on this footnote plugin, but it seems to be a common request for other footnote plugins as well. It doesn’t look like anyone has been able to deliver yet though.

In reply to: [WordPress.com Stats] [Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] now failing to displayI had the same issue, and installing Jetpack did fix it.
It seems to be that the WordPress.com Stats plugin is broken right now unless you install Jetpack.

In reply to: [Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] WP Stats Takes Minutes to Load/DisplayI’ve been having the same problem for a few weeks now. It used to be that it would speed up again after every new update, but after having recently updated to 9.2 I was surprised to find that stats was still taking a really long time to load. Could this be a database issue of some sort?
