@werdpres updated plugin will be released Tuesday, and should resolve the issue you are having. Thanks.
@werdpres will look into this. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
@werdpres Ok setup a new install and you are right, the shortcode isn’t working as intended. I have a fix however, can you provide me with your email and I will send it to you to test if you don’t mind? Or email me at chris at bloomwp.com. Thanks.
@werdpres could be a bug. I will spin up a clean WP install and give it a try, and post back up here with my results. Stay tuned.
Classic editor is great, and you should be able to use the shortcode to place subscribe box anywhere within the content.
If you are using a pagebuilder you can place AlertMe! anywhere on the page. I don’t know enough about your setup, and just guessing at this point. If you want to provide me a login, I can take a look and offer some guidance.
@werdpres You could also insert the subscribe box direct into the template and position you prefer using the following code:
<?php echo do_shortcode('[alertme-form-show]'); ?>
Maybe that helps?
@werdpres I see. So currently we only have top/bottom placement registered.
Hi @werdpres,
Regarding A, on the next update the plan is to move AlertMe! out of “Tools” and as its own sidebar item.Are you trying to place the subscribe box in the middle of the page, or sidebar?
If using the shortcode and you want to send an update alert to subscriber, just click the “Send update notification.” option, and “Update” the post.
Screen shot captions have been updated. Thanks again for the heads up on this.
