Thanks for confirming, but if the aim is to modify the index.php template, why not just amend the template that is available through wordpress’ editor?

Why go through the hassle of amending it in notepad and uploading it via FTP to a child?

I would therefore appreciate having the process confirmed by which I am to achieve this.

For example… is the answer to create a child theme, which in turn requires the creation a home.php which requires amending the index.php code (within a program such as notepad) to then save that file within the wordpress templates, which is achieved via FTP (Filezilla)…

Is this the process you’re recommending?

Do you have to pay an additional fee to be able to edit the css?

So this is where I struggle – I clicked on appearance, then editor, which brings up the Fanwood style sheet (style.css). I then scrolled to the very bottom of the sheet, pasted in the amend you suggested and that’s it.

But no luck – am I doing this right?

I’m not sure I’m entirely getting it. I want users to email [email protected] but I want their emails to be forwarded to my normal account.

How do I link the two exactly?

I’m confused. I know how to access the style sheet, (style.css) but then what…? Do I click on ‘Main Index Template’? Do I just copy and paste the link anywhere? How do I find the relevant bit of coding?

So is there anyway of fixing it?

On the homepage, his head is cropped but when you click on the image, head is not cropped. So something is going on from post-to-homepage me thinks?
