  • Well, it’s embarrassing to admit, but I had several plugins that weren’t up to date, including Woo Commerce. Once I updated them I was able to activate Google Listings and ads.
However, even though Woo Commerce tells me it’s syncing with Google, the product feed doesn’t contain any products. I thought I better look at this a bit more closely though before I shout for help again!

Hi, Thank you for your assistance. I’ve got this working now.

I have just experienced the same problem and got the following fatal error message which is all gobbledegook to me. Anyone who can help, I’d be very grateful.

    Fatal error: Uncaught Automattic\WooCommerce\GoogleListingsAndAds\Vendor\League\Container\Exception\NotFoundException: Alias (Automattic\WooCommerce\GoogleListingsAndAds\Tracking\Events\ActivatedEvents) is not being managed by the container or delegates in /home/sites/4a/a/a9fe66c1d5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-listings-and-ads/vendor/league/container/src/Container.php:188 Stack trace: #0 /home/sites/4a/a/a9fe66c1d5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-listings-and-ads/src/Container.php(90): Automattic\WooCommerce\GoogleListingsAndAds\Vendor\League\Container\Container->get('Automattic\\WooC...') #1 /home/sites/4a/a/a9fe66c1d5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-listings-and-ads/src/Infrastructure/GoogleListingsAndAdsPlugin.php(61): Automattic\WooCommerce\GoogleListingsAndAds\Container->get('Automattic\\WooC...') #2 /home/sites/4a/a/a9fe66c1d5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-listings-and-ads/google-listings-and-ads.php(49): Automattic\WooCommerce\GoogleListingsAndAds\Infrastructure\GoogleListingsAndAdsPl in /home/sites/4a/a/a9fe66c1d5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-listings-and-ads/vendor/league/container/src/Container.php on line 188

Hi thanks for this. I have installed the Neve Hooks plugin but I’m afraid I still don’t know where to put this. Can you help please?

Thank you. I’ll look into that.

I would also like an answer to this if anybody knows how to do it.
    Thank you

I really like the concept of cookiebot and especially the automation for prior consent. It used to work on my WebPlus websites but since WebPlus is obsolete I have now started the process of updating them to WordPress.

Version 3.3 of the cookiebot plugin (still) breaks the free version of elementor. Initially it just seemed to be the display of some gallery images, but today the Elementor page builder wouldn’t even load. I have had to disable cookiebot, which rather defeats the object! Is there a proper fix in the works any time soon please?

Hi, thank you for your reply. It was actually set to default, but it actually doesn’t make any difference what the column count is set to, it still only displays in a single column.
    Any other suggestions?

Steven (or anyone else), I guess I’m not technically aware enough to write a shortcode.
I have created what I need in a table, and you can view this here
However, whilst this is fine as far as it goes, I need it to open to the current week by default. As it stands, each week will be on a separate page and viewers would have to search to find the right week. I also need it to be easy for the Club Secretary to update the information and indeed to upload it in the first place. A table does mean a csv file can be uploaded.
    Any help gratefully received.
    Thanks.

Thank you for your suggestions, but my issue is one of how the information is displayed. As far as I can tell, most calendar plugins display, well, a calendar. In other words, it’s a calendar with events added to it. What I want is the location as the primary sort. So, green 1 and green 2 as the primary blocks and then each of these blocks divided into 3 time periods. This would constitute a row, say Monday, and then this would be repeated below for each day of the week. Match fixtures could then be added into each block. The idea is that at a glance you could see that on green 1 on Tuesday afternoon team A from anywhere land is playing team B from blogs town and on green 2 on wednesday evening team C from anywhere land is playing team D from Blogs town. I’d draw you a diagram if I could fathom out how to put it in this box. I haven’t seen any demo’s of calendar plugins with this type of display and wading through what feels like hundreds of different sets of documentation is very time consuming. I was just hoping that someone reading this would know a plugin that does this.
    Thanks.

I contacted WP forms direct and they very helpfully provided the following answer:

“Yes, WPForms does use cookies. When a visitor goes to a page that has WPForms on it,
we check to see if the user has a WPForms UUID cookie (Universally Unique Identifier). If they don’t have one already, our plugin will create a UUID cookie for them.

In our paid version, this cookie allows our plugin to connect entries by the same user and is used for some additional features like our Form Abandonment addon (our Lite version uses the same file that generates the cookie, which is why you saw a cookie be created).

However, this cookie does not contain or represent any personal information or entry details whatsoever. It’s simply a random collection of numbers and letters that we can use for backend processing.”
I hope this answer helps other people with the same question. – Still don’t know why it has to be quite so persistent though.

Yes, what does it do and why does it have an 11 YEAR persistence?

Since GDPR is going to be a legal requirement and since I am building this site for a small club who haven’t got much money, I was hoping that you would incorporate a mandatory check box in the Free version……… Please!

It’s ok thanks. I have solved this by deleting the site from the server and re-installing it.

I have been having the same problem with the Yoga template – on android devices my replacement logo didn’t show and the default logo did. Now I have replaced the retina logo and it works! Just need to play around with the size now.
    Thanks very much.
