Same problem. There is no response on this? Events showing on calendar as POSTED date and not Event date. If you chnage posted date the future, obviously wordpress sets that as Scheduled.

Currently no way to set future events on calendar.

Yeah thanks – I tried that too. Got everything set up correctly until it told me my host was blocking the outgoing smtp ports – ALL OF THEM – and then it could help no more. Highly recommended though. Thanks for the help!

Hi – Yeah – haha – I did read about it. I still couldn’t figure out it’s purpose. It sends emails. But I have mailchimp that does that for marketing and gmail for interactions and that’s all I send – except for those few that send from my website. And the SMTP issues I have ARE from sending emails from my website, which my host forbids via smtp for some stupid reason. And unfortunately, changing any time soon is out of the question.
If I could see a way through Mandrill to send the way I’d like, but their website is very glyphic. How would I get around the host – and still send emails ‘from’ my domain? It doesn’t say anything like that. And also says get a developer before starting. haha
Any way – this plugin doens’t work for me at all. I had to dump it and the (purchased) scheduling plugin that relied on stopping the goofy ‘from’ address: [email protected] – this after hours of fighting with it – and my host. Good luck. ??

I have Mailchimp but don’t understand Mandrill at all… ??

I get the same error. I’m using a Google Apps account and I have tried every combination. I even tried to go back to gmail and log in using the creds I was inserting to make sure I was using correct ones or they hadn’t expired or something.
Nothing works.
Any ideas?

I also tried a non-google-apps regular gmail account and got the same results. It does not allow this to work.

Same error at bottom each time:
SMTP -> ERROR: Failed to connect to server: Connection refused (111)
I have verified all settings and double checked credentials.

Help! ??

Yep – that’s them. And no it’s not on every single page, but it’s NOT just on their setup page, and it doesn’t go away for a while… Eventually it will, but a few days later it will be right back again pestering all over the dashboard.

I’m sorry about the caps. I was looking at my fingers til I was almost done and didn’t feel like retyping.

I also apologize about bringing it to the wrong person’s attention. I was following a link at the bottom of the Sharaholic Plugin settings page and I thought it took me to the www.remarpro.com support site for them.

They are the ones with the stupid plugin ad. They keep encouraging me to get their firefox plugin. That’s what I was complaining about. It’s a top bar drop down ad that keeps recurring and it moves the whole page down 3/4″ or so and is a pain in the butt.

I’m sorry I didn’t aim my frustrations correctly… It’s just pretty ghetto behavior, even for someone writing shareware.

I’m kindof shocked…

I figured it was me – or the server but I have no control over that.
Yes – I tried it more than once just to make sure. back and forth from 3.6.5 (breaks) to 3.4.1 (works). and no – I never install wordpress or themes or plugins this way – always from within wp. So I never had any suffusion files or folders on my machine to mess me up until I downloaded from GoogleCode.
I’m sorry to ask for that. But it only happened after the very last update. And I’ve reverted back to 3.4.1 and everything is great except for everything the new features offer which we spent a bunch of time playing with to get right. Now 3.4.1 doesn’t have a lot of that stuff.
I’ve reinstalled the latest (3.6.5), so that the site keeps functioning the way we want it to, but I can’t post or add a page or anything until I install a previous version, and staying with 3.4.1 would be very dissappointing.

Can someone put a newer version up on there, at least a 3.6.x, that isn’t 3.6.5?

I did all this and it still fails with the new version 3.6.5. And it’s white screens for most pages on the back end.
The only older version that these instructions give me is 3.4.1 and is 6 months old and not the most recent version prior to 3.6.5
Can you make the ONE version earlier than 3.6.5 available.
That one was working fine and now I can’t get it back. I had a lot of customizations working that are not available in 3.4.1.

for some reason the www.remarpro.com site is breaking and every time I try to post a new topic it logs me off, so, sorry for posting here.
I also have the strange text at the bottom of the page, but it’s only whenever I paste Google Analytics code in the analytics box. And, it’s the code that shows up. I finally had to post it in the custom includes area under custom footer javascript footer but Google doesn’t like it there.
Any ideas if the update you spoke about 3 days ago will fix this too?

BTW – Really great and powerful theme. I use it almost exclusively.
