I’ve just realized that these may not actually be duplicate posts but posts of duplicate tweets that are being tweeted again e.g via Hoosuite schedule.

These kind of tweets would appear as duplicates.

What I don’t understand though is why these tweets get fed to Facebook repeatedly – the Facebook posts are definitely duplicates as they appear repeatedly over the space of a few hours.

This probably has nothing to do with ITAP though – my apologies for that.

Chandan – that seems to have worked – will monitor longer RTs to be sure but hopefully that is it. Thank you very much.

Hi – I tried to put this code in but I’m not sure if I have done it correctly – I could not see line numbers in the editor so I just pasted it just before the end of the code. However, long RT still gets truncated – usually the URL at the end, which makes the post redundant.

Can you help me with this?
