Hi Hal,
Hope you are well.
Sadly this still leads to errors… Did you have time to look into it ?
I would be glad to help.Best Regards
ChristianHi Hal,
I tried it, sadly it didn’t work…
If I can help you test other things feel free to ask !
Thanks for your help and dedicationSadly it still does break Elementor. I am getting this exact error :
“Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.”
The error only appears on pages where a testimonial shortcode is loaded. (for me it would be homepage and “testimonials” page)
I will dig a bit deeper and try to find a solution.
Of course, you still are awesome ??
Best Regards,
ChristianHal, you truly are awesome !
Thanks for the effort ??Hi Hal,
Did you have time to look into this bug ? As given in my last comment apparently the fix is quite easy !
Hoping to hear from you soon and whishing you a nice dayBest regards,
ChristianThanks @godvsgodvs
I tried the free version but couldn’t get the desired functionality…
I will do the rest of the work on the new site in the meantime, but in my case (and for clients refusing to pay for updates…) it would be great to see a native solution and not have another attack vector / subscription to handle…Let’s see how this unfolds ??
I found that quite quickly but no way to try it on a single page without buying a license first.
I am all out for paying the device back, but not before being sure it does what I want…Thanks for the reply ! It would still be great to have a native solution for the best site builder I could ever ask for.
PS:
Apparently the fix seems rather easy / quick :

In reply to: [Testimonial Rotator] Average Star RatingI already asked for this some weeks ago, great to see, I a m not the only one missing this feature !
Sadly there isn’t such a way for the moment, but the developer answered he will maybe look into it in the future, hopefully a simple shortcode can do the job !Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Testimonial Rotator] Replace Font AwesomeFor people searching for the same idea, I have found the solution, it works quite well, even with an SVG !
Here is the CSS I added
.fa.fa-star { background-image: url("/where-your-icon-is"); content: ""; display: inline-block; background-position: center; background-size: cover; width: 25px; height: 25px; }
Hope this can help someone !

In reply to: [Testimonial Rotator] Shortcode to present an agregated review scoreDoes this method present an average score ? (I will not curate my reviews (except if it is not bound to a known client…) so of course scores like 4,67 could arise…
A specific shortcode giving an average (even better if it could incorporate the markup data) would be terrific to post on the homescreen while keeping reviews in a list on a secondary page. Thanks a lot !

In reply to: [Testimonial Rotator] Replace Font AwesomeThanks for the answer !
Could you point me to the corresponding CSS ? I’d love to use a png/svg instead to reduce external sources and load times…Thanks !

In reply to: [Five Star Restaurant Reviews] Average star ranking and plugin activityHi @natewr,
Thanks for the quick reply !
My question was if there was a possibility to load an average of all the reviews thanks to a shortcode
Let’s say I have 3 reviews with 2 times 4 stars and once 5 stars in my reviews page, could I get a quick recap (just the number of stars in icons and written, in this case 4,3/5) on my homepage using a shortcode ?
The idea comes from https://www.opendoor.com/ which seems to be a great way to show these of without being obstrusive. Thanks again,
Best Regards,
Christian
