Thanks for your help on this – tried everything on that page even tried the database renaming the url from there but still nothing.

Anyone any ideas?

Yes updated it to:

/%category%/%postname%/

Still the same thing happens in fact when i pushed update i got the message again “500 internal server error”

Any ideas?
