Same problem here right now. Have this problem sporadically for past few days.

Yes, comment submitting is rather slow. Somehow slower that it used to be tough I might be wrong and there is some problem with my site.

Most comments on my site are added between 5 to 10 seconds but sometimes they really get stuck. Example:

Usally it’s:

Sadly, I have new problem now. Comments are loaded via ajax just fine but after I change comment page “Loading comments” information stays forever and mouse cursor is spinning. I’m using Firefox 30.0 Beta and this problem is not present on Internet Explorer.

Okay, I managed to fix this issue by using munkie87 fix:

(But before that I had to change some varnish/nginx settings to determine the real client IP)

Still, it would be very nice if you could add HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR as option. Thanks!
