I also want a bit of the post content to be shown as well, not just a list of the posts

but that’s not how it should be

Starting from scratch:

I created a new post, typed in the post title and post content, then clicked on the upload an image icon, uploaded the photos and waited for them all to finish uploading. Clicked on Save all changes which makes the Gallery tab appear. Click on insert gallery. Gallery inserted.

Clicked on the Upload an Image icon again and the four tabs appear (From Computer, From URL, Gallery (7), Media Library). I go to click on the gallery tab and it disappears and instead just shows this: https://i55.tinypic.com/opcytj.png

I know I can click on the gallery in the post and it takes me to the gallery editing options, but even there, if I click the From Computer tab to add another photo, the Gallery tab still disappears.

I’m also now noticing the when I click the From URL tab, it’s missing a lot of options. Here’s what I see: https://i55.tinypic.com/hu3cew.png

Yup, tried it on Firefox, Chrome, IE, and Safari. Same thing happens on other computers.

yup, everything uploads correctly. I can see the images in the Media library and add them into pages/posts individually, but the gallery option disappears whenever I try for it.

it’s blank. I pasted in the default wp-content/uploads and that didn’t help either.

I’ve done everything you listed, still no luck.

Anything else I should try? I’ve built other websites on this same setup with no errors, so this is just weird for me.

I don’t have access to phpMyAdmin, but if I did, where would I look for errors?
