From which version did you update the plugin?

If you update from version 2.4.+ to 3.+, here’s something you need to know: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/introducing-blocks-3/

There are some changes with the HTML structures of the blocks in version 3.+ and here are the troubleshooting steps you can do to fix if something breaks after the migration to the latest version.

Can you check if you have the latest version of the plugin? Also, it could be a conflict with another plugin. To rule this possible cause, can you try to deactivate the plugins except for the Kadence Blocks?

Can you try disabling all the plugins temporarily except for the Kadence Blocks and see if it makes a difference?

2. You can apply a background image to a Row Layout or Section block and apply Background Overlay color/gradient color as well. Here’s how: https://share.getcloudapp.com/yAuAwwAo
